Welcome to Mashgin Monthly, a quick summary of what's new at Mashgin:
New cash management UI - manage cash recyclers more easily thanks to a new UI that makes the most common tasks easier to find.
Store and forward is now supported on Shift4 gateways - Keep taking transactions on Shift4 gateways, even if you lose your network connection.
Quickly copy SKUs in Creator - we’ve made a common creator task a single click.

New Cash Management UI
Bigger buttons and an always-visible inventory make our update to cash management more clear and simpler to navigate.
The new UI will also automatically surface audit buttons at the top if the cash recycler detects a different bill or coin count than expected, (usually because of jams).
When the audit starts, all tender in the affected stackers are emptied and the unit goes through a self-cleaning. This can take 5-10 minutes. Once done, the stacker should be refilled up to the threshold level printed on the receipt.
Shift 4 Store and Forward
Ever have your network go down in the middle of a rush of customers? This can be devastating if your POS can’t keep taking transactions due to downtime.
Luckily with store and forward, we’re able to temporarily save key payment information and send it as a batch once the network is restored.
With Shift4 gateways, payment info will be accepted for up to 10 days after the purchase (though we really don’t recommend leaving your kiosk offline for that long).

It’s a small quality of life change, but we’re all about creating quality of life for our clients. We’ve added a little button next to an items SKU in Creator so that you can grab it in a single click.
