Onsite management is now easier than ever thanks to Staff Assist - a new UI that empowers staff to take over transactions and adjust items in the cart.
More payment options are available for clients in sports, hospitality, and healthcare thanks to new integrations with Clover Flex and GEMpay.

Staff Assist
Our goal is to help businesses eliminate checkout lines. That means giving onsite staff the tools they need to quickly help shoppers when they encounter an issue or need something added or removed from their cart.
Staff Assist adds a new UI that will activate when a manager card is scanned in the middle of a transaction.
From there a range of options become available:
- Replace an item by tapping on it and selecting a replacement
- Add items from either favorites (always visible) or a quick item search
- Remove items from the cart by tapping the “X” next to them
- Add entire trays of food - this locks current items in the cart so that shoppers can remove the current tray and add a second one. This feature can be used more than once.
Staff Assist Favorites Menu
Favorites makes adding common items a breeze by keeping them visible and easy to find. This is great for any large items that may not normally fit on the kiosk tray or common add-ons that may be out of reach.
Onsite staff can add items to Favorites by simply tapping the star under the item name, and can reorder favorites by tapping “Reorder Items” and dragging them into new positions.

Integrations - Clover Flex and GEMpay
Clover Flex
Mashgin can now take payments through Clover Flex, opening up instantaneous checkout to hundreds of thousands of Clover customers. This is particularly important to our clients in hospitality and sports where Clover is a prominent option.
Thanks to the flexibility of Clover’s product line, it’s easy to configure food & beverage outlets to take advantage of table service functionality, order at the counter, and high speed grab-and-go with Mashgin in parallel.
Common CENTS GEMpay
Doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff who rely on GEMpay can now use this badge pay tech at Mashgin kiosks. Keeping the buying process cashless makes an already quick Mashgin transaction even faster while saving staff the hassle of holding onto their wallets throughout the shift.
