Mashgin Expands Footprint at BMO Stadium
BMO Stadium in Los Angeles has added additional Mashgin self-checkout kiosks, further streamlining the concession experience for fans. Now present in more than 110 major league stadiums worldwide, these machines are known for their speed, with most transactions at BMO Stadium clocking in at only 13 seconds, over 4x faster than the industry average. Mashgin’s expansion at the home of the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), as at other venues, is a response to growing demand for faster, more efficient service, especially during packed events where every second counts.
With a capacity of 22,000, the stadium offers an intimate but high-energy environment, perfectly suited for the passionate LAFC fan base. Known for their enthusiasm and unwavering support, LAFC fans create one of the most dynamic atmospheres in Major League Soccer. Adding more Mashgin kiosks means these fans can now spend less time in line and more time cheering on their team.
"Anywhere we've deployed Mashgin, transaction times are much faster, the throughput is a lot quicker, and we're seeing people are definitely buying more things," stated BMO Stadium CTO Christian Lau.
Mashgin continues to lead the way in AI-driven checkout technology, offering touchless, visual item recognition that drastically speeds up the transaction process. Using advanced computer vision, our kiosks identify items instantly, making checkout up to four times faster than traditional methods. Fan feedback has been overwhelmingly positive (78% of surveyed attendees at Adelaide Stadium prefer Mashgin over other checkout) and the increased efficiency has proven to boost revenue (by 34% at Empower Field) and significantly reduce wait times (67% shorter lines at Delek US convenience stores). The over 4,500 Mashgin kiosks now in operation are creating a smoother, more stress-free experience for customers and fans all over the globe.
