Customize Your Mashgin Cloud
While it’s useful to see every detail of what’s going on in your location, there are times when you want to be able to quickly hone in on specific information. With this update to Mashgin Cloud, you can quickly hide specific charts and tables to get right to what you’re looking for faster.
Customizing is simple, just click the settings wheel and then uncheck any tables or charts you don’t want to see:
*Note - Hiding a module will do so for all users of your location or group. This will be customized per user in future updates.
New Cash Integration - Paypod
Customers now have a second option to accept cash payments directly at Mashgin thanks to our new integration with Paypod cash recyclers. This compact recycler from Crane Payment Innovations makes it easy to take cash and make change for customers while minimizing cash handling by employees.
This is particularly important for convenience stores who have a higher proportion of cash customers. Since Mashgin is also integrated with fuel pumps, this can dramatically improve line times for cash customers who want to buy fuel by opening up additional lanes that don’t require a cashier to take cash.
Paypod is our second cash integration to date, customers also have the choice of integrating Mashgin with the Glory CI series cash recyclers
Share a Cash Recycler
Save space and money by connecting multiple Mashgin kiosks to a single cash recycler. This is great for locations that want to accept cash at Mashgin but don’t have enough cash transactions a day to justify connecting a recycler to each unit.
This new feature is currently in beta with both Paypod and Glory cash recyclers, and should be widely available later in June.
Skip The Line - to Great Insights!
We learn so much from our customers and friends in the industry that we want to start sharing some of those insights with all of you! To that end, we’ve launched our podcast series “Skip the Line,” which you can find on our website, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
Our first episode is an interview of Jay Smith, who leads food service operations at Texas State University both on campus and in their concessions stands at the stadiums.
Jay gives us some great advice on what students want, interesting ways to expand food options though things like rotating food trucks, and career advice for new and aspiring managers in the space.
