Thunder Ridge Nature Arena Debuts with Mashgin Kiosks
Nestled in the heart of the Missouri Ozark Mountains and overlooking the picturesque Table Rock Lake, the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena is a marvel of modern entertainment and natural beauty. Envisioned by Johnny Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops, this 20,000-seat nature amphitheater is part of the expansive Big Cedar Lodge footprint. Thunder Ridge immerses guests in the great outdoors while hosting some of the biggest names and events in the country. Managed by industry giant ASM Global and partnered with Live Nation, the arena has already featured acts like Chris Stapleton and will welcome the Rolling Stones, Luke Bryan, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, and Fuerza Regida later this year. This one-of-a-kind venue, a decade in the making, aims to be America's most beautiful outdoor amphitheater, offering an immersive outdoor "musical postcard from Mother Nature."
To enhance the visitor experience, 53 Mashgin kiosks were strategically deployed throughout the arena for its opening event. These cutting-edge kiosks, known for their lightning-fast transaction times, averaged under 20 seconds per transaction during the arena's first events. As patrons become more familiar with the Mashgin system, this efficiency is expected to improve even further. With transaction times up to ten times faster than traditional checkout methods, Mashgin is set to revolutionize the concession stand experience at Thunder Ridge, ensuring fans spend less time in line and more time enjoying the show.
Mashgin's innovative self-checkout technology is already a staple in over 4,500 locations, including more than 100 stadiums worldwide. Its AI-powered system can recognize multiple items simultaneously without the need for barcodes, making it ideal for high-traffic environments. This deployment at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena underscores the venue's commitment to providing a fast, efficient, and enjoyable experience for every guest, aligning perfectly with its mission to blend natural splendor with top-tier entertainment.
