Sports Deployments We Love

Soldier Field, Home of the Chicago Bears
One of our favorite sports deployments of the year was Soldier Field. We worked with the stadium’s food service operator to upgrade the concourse with 60 Mashgin kiosks, speeding up service and reducing lines at concession stands across the stadium. That’s a win all fans can appreciate.

Convenience Store Deployments We Love

Chestnut Market, The Retail Detail Kings
The Jamal family owns and operates the Chestnut Market chain, with over 70 locations in the New York tristate area. A relentless focus on customer experience is part of their DNA, and eliminating checkout lines is an important part of that vision. Not satisfied with simply shortening lines, they decided to end them completely at their Hutchinson Parkway location by adding 6 Mashgin kiosks to their premier store, effectively eliminating any customer wait times.  Average transaction times for their customers? A blazing fast 17 seconds.

Everyone knows students can’t concentrate on an empty stomach. For those who need to catch a quick snack between classes, we make it happen. As a result, college campus deployments have become one of our fastest growing spaces.

Toccoa Falls College
Mashgin provides a convenient option for students at the Toccoa Falls College Screaming Eagle Cafe. The convenience store format features Mashgin and supports declining balance meal plans, allowing students to pay with their campus meal cards.

Ski Resort Deployments We Love

Palisades Tahoe, Olympic-Level Service
Every year, more than 600,000 guests visit Palisades Tahoe, which is a TON of people to feed. To help out some very busy staff, Palisades installed 26 Mashgin kiosks across their food and beverage outlets - resulting in a lot of happy skiers. One less line to worry about.

Sometimes you make it to the airport 3 hours early like airlines say you should. Other times the TSA has you sprinting to your gate. For those of you who desperately need a snack even though your boarding group was just called, we’re here for you.

Airport Deployments We Love

1897 Market, Charlotte Douglas International Airport
One of many locations with our partner HMS Host, 1897 Market stands out for having an excellent grab-and-go concept that naturally pulls people into a quick-moving line, and gets them on their way in no time.


 

2024 Product Enhancements

One of the reasons customers love Mashgin is our ability to bring AI to life and solve real-world problems - eliminating lines, increasing sales, and delivering a better guest experience. 

Our engineering team spent 2024 making Mashgin even better for customers, onsite staff, and operations teams who are on the hook for ensuring flawless execution day-in and day-out.

A few of the areas that our engineering team focused on included:

  • AI and computer vision improvements to ensure high-speed, accurate execution on over 440 million transactions
  • Flexible custom food options, including the ability to visually select items in containers
  • Loss prevention features such as sound cues and alerts to provide situational awareness to attendants overseeing multiple checkout kiosks
  • Menu management enhancements to make pricebook integration faster and easier
  • Attendant tools to facilitate age-restricted item sales, adding bulky items to transactions, and reviewing transactions in real-time without disrupting the guest experience

Integrations

Our vision of eliminating lines everywhere means that Mashgin needs to integrate with a wide range of payment systems, point-of-sale platforms, loyalty programs, and countless back-of-house accounting systems – we want it to be easy for customers to add Mashgin to their operations leveraging the business tools they already depend on.

With that goal in mind, in 2024, we added support for 18 new integrations, bringing our total to over 50 supported technology partners that deliver great experiences for our customers.

A few integration highlights from 2024 and how they help customers:

  • Verifone Commander allows convenience stores to easily leverage Mashgin for retail and fuel sales in a single self-serve transaction
  • RTP Connect allows ski resort season pass holders to get passholder discounts and pay with their pass in a single tap
  • Wicket Face Authentication enables customers to pay by simply looking at the screen, delivering a blazing fast 8-second median transaction time.  We also added similar support for Pop ID and ID Mission.
  • Various payment integrations with Chase Pay, FreedomPay UK, PARpay, Moneris, and Trove continue to expand the options our customers have for using Mashgin with their existing payment providers 
  • Loyalty program integrations with Fanmaker, Avolta, Clover Sports Mobile, Punchh, and Yinzcam help ensure retailers can leverage data from Mashgin while providing loyalty benefits to their customers

Making Mashgin easy to integrate with existing systems, and supporting high-speed payment methods will continue to be a focus in 2025.  Stay tuned for more exciting integration announcements in the year ahead.


 

Partnering for Success

Much of our 2024 growth comes from helping food service operators deliver a better experience to their guests.  Just like these operators obsess over delivering a great food experience, we are obsessing over providing a technology platform that helps them speed up service, make their operations faster and more efficient, and improve their operating margins.  We are grateful to our partners and look forward to continuing to support their operations in 2025.
